Arena Ice Rink
 

Recently remodeled for multiple uses, the Lakeview Arena houses the Parks and Recreation department offices and a variety of recreational activities including public skating, junior and adult hockey programs, figure skating, rental skates, and ice rental for community groups and organizations.  Besides a two-ice sheet arena, Lakeview is also rented out for various public and private events and shows. Lakeview is available May through August as a large reception/banquet hall with seating for up to 600 guests. Lakeview Arena also provides wireless internet.

Open Skate

The Lakeview Arena offers open skate during the months of October thru March. Hours and prices vary by day, age and event. All public programs begin Monday, October 1, 2012 for the season.

Skate Park

Plans for a brand new skate park are in the works by the Marquette Area Skate Park Committee. They will be building a brand new skateboard plaza here in Marquette. A fundraising effort is in effect to raise $250,000 for the new park.

The City of Marquette, a tax exempt organization, is the fiscal agent for the Marquette Area Skate Plaza Committee. All donations are tax deductible.

Wedding Receptions and Other Events
