.Sister City Committee

The Sister City Advisory Committee was established February 13, 1989 to advise the city commission on all issues regarding the participation of the city in Sister City programs. The Committee will meet at 6:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month at the Arts and Culture Center, lower level of the Peter White Public Library. The committee has nine members (changed from five members at the September 13, 2004 commission meeting) serving three year terms.

Additional meetings may be called and changes may be made by action of the Sister Cities Committee. Notices will be posted for such changes in compliance with Public Act 267 of 1976.
Proposed minutes of meetings will be available for public inspection within 8 business days after the meeting. Approved minutes will be available for public inspection within five business days after the meeting at which minutes are approved.
