Dead Animal Reporting

Animals that have been killed by vehicle traffic and require disposal may be reported to the City Public Works Department (228-0444) or the Marquette City Police (228-0400). If the carcass is along the US 41 corridor through the City, collection is the responsibility of the Marquette County Road Commission and should be reported to their Maintenance Department in Ishpeming. The City does not provide a disposal service for household pets that have died.
