Camp

There is a $4.00 reservation fee, and the minimum charge to reserve a site is one night's fee. There is a 14 night limit on reservations, and we begin taking reservations on January 1st. The season begins the middle of May and lasts until October 15th. There is a $10.00 cancellation fee. We ask all campers to please abide by the Tourist Park Rules.

 

Picnic Areas

Each picnic area can be reserved for a fee of $100.00. A refundable security deposit of $100.00 is required. Area #1 located on the ball field side accommodates up to 400 people. Area #2 located in the triangular shaped area can be used by 2 - 100 people. Area #3 by the playground is for between 3 -300 people. There are electrical connections available; but no loudspeakers or amplifying equipment is permitted. The ball field can be reserved with picnic area #1 for no additional fee. Beer and wine permits are available for the Tourist Park picnic areas with a reservation at no additional fee.

 

Q: Why can’t I reserve a specific site number?

A: Marquette Tourist Park only offers site-general reservations (full service, electric, etc.) Some campgrounds offer site-specific reservations for portions of the camping season. This offers the convenience of knowing which site you will have in advance, but this reservation method can also cause additional problems. When campers reserve a specific site for a specific time period, numerous one or two day only campsite openings are created. This results in the situation where other campers who wish to stay more than one or two days may have to move two, three, or more times during their single stay. To best serve all campers, parks that frequently encounter this situation offer site-general reservations that do not guarantee a particular site number, but do provide a site that is available for the entire reservation period.
