Community Demonstrations and Presentations

Marquette City Fire Department is very active within the business and industrial community of Marquette. A wide range of services from demonstrations, presentations, and advising, are available to employers and employees within the city. Fire extinguisher demonstrations and safety lectures are given to local business to familiarize their employees with the capabilities and limitations of portable fire extinguishers. A hands-on approach to training has proven successful in building skills that may save lives and property. Health care facility employees receive fire safety training to increase efficiency in fire related emergencies. A comprehensive program of video, lectures, and hands-on training has been developed to better serve medical professionals who serve our citizens. Civic organizations also benefit from Marquette City Fire Departments services. Constant interaction with local organizations and participation within the community promotes SAFE public gatherings.
