| The Board of Light and Power (BLP) is an elected body and not appointed by the city commission. The BLP was established by the city charter, section 13-7, and is responsible for the light and power operations in the city. The BLP meets the second and last Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the BLP Office, 2200 Wright Street. The five elected members of the BLP serve three year terms. |

Minutes are also available for inspection at the city clerk's office, upper level of city hall, and the Peter White Public Library, both in Marquette, MI. | ||
