Hospital Finance Authority
The Hospital Finance Authority was established by the city commission on October 12, 1976, under the provisions of Act 38 of the Public Acts of Michigan, 1969, as amended. The authority was created to allow Marquette General Hospital to use the city's tax free bonding powers to acquire funds for development and construction. The authority meets when a need arises and has five members serving five year terms.
